About the Founder
Before dedicating his full-time to Insurance Mentor, Chas served as the Sales Operations Director at Scott & White Health Plan, Central U.S. Sales Manager for CIGNA’s Individual & Family Plan Segment, & District Sales Manager for Assurant Health.
He is also a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) from the American College of Financial Services.
In addition to being an insurance broker, Chas spends time with his wife Angela and their three children.

Note from the Founder
Charles “Chas” Pierce is the founder of Insurance Mentor, a firm dedicated to financial stewardship by helping clients spend insurance dollars wisely & leverage tax codes properly.
He graduated from the University of North Texas in 1988 with a BA in finance. He then obtained a Texas insurance license in 1989. In addition, he completed a professional RHU or Registered Health Underwriter designation.
His 30+ year career includes some of the world’s largest health insurance companies. In various roles he served in sales management, supported 1000’s of independent insurance brokers, taught numerous agent continuing education courses, worked on over 20,000 employer groups, & sold over $1 billion in premiums.
Chas & his wife, Angela, were married in 1995 & enjoy spending time together and with their three children.
